A private online community for stepmoms seeking community inspiration &
solution-focused support

Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed, unsure, resentful and like no one understands how tough this stepmom gig is?

That's exactly how I felt seven years ago.

It's also the reason I started this platform.

I started this platform because I saw a void in the support for stepmoms...

Amongst all the resources for navigating motherhood, there was very little POSITIVE online support for stepmoms.

While moms are encouraged to "keep it real" stepmoms are expected to grin and bare it...

When I first became a stepmom I quickly learned that it's like this dirty little secret that no one wants to talk about...

Resources for stepmoms were minimal - and anything I did find was plagued with negativity

I didn't know a lot about step-parenting but I knew one thing for sure...this type of "support" wasn't going help me figure out how to navigate this new role.

So, when I couldn't find the type of support I needed, I decided to create it

As a Life Coach with a Specialization in Stepfamily Dynamics, former Child Protection Worker, second wife, stepmom and child of divorce, I've created one-of-a-kind resources for stepmoms who are struggling to find their place.

My goal is to normalize the struggles that come with blended family life, and show stepmoms that it is entirely possible to live a KICK-ASS Life amongst the extra stressors that come with this new modern day family.

All the happens in The Exclusive Stepmom Community

Your honesty is such a breath of fresh air and helps me realize this stuff happens to the best of us. Thank you for sharing so that all us stepmoms can learn and feel supported!

You'll also receive monthly exclusive content from three of my favourite stepmom bloggers.
Not only will they share content they don't share anywhere else, but they're active in the forum ready to provide support!

Beth is one of three moms raising one fun, feisty little redhead. Over at the Babbling Blonde, she provides support, accountability, and some laughs for other stepmoms. As someone who identifies as bisexual, Beth prioritizes inclusivity and is proud to help stepmoms thrive in and create safe spaces for LGBTQ kids and adults.  She is a child of divorce and has been part of blended families for 30 years.
When she isn't supporting stepmoms, Beth is a Rotten Tomatoes certified film critic, pop culture junkie, and perpetually covered in dog hair. You can find her on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

Laura Epstein is a New England based blogger, who has been a stepmom for 8 years, and has 25 years of personal blended and stepfamily experience. Together with her husband, they share 50/50 custody of an 11 year old, of whom she has a close relationship.

Laura’s blended family life originally began when her parents divorced at age 7. Her mother was what we consider a “high conflict bio mom” and was gone for several years of her life due to substance abuse issues. Following their divorce her father soon married her first stepmom and a few years later divorced again. By the time Laura was 15 her dad remarried her second stepmom, who also had children from a previous marriage.

After experiencing nearly all of her life as a stepchild and now a stepparent, she is sharing her intimate, raw and authentic experiences on this platform and on social media.  Laura also has a Bachelor Degree of Science in Behavioral Psychology, from Suffolk University.

You can check her out on Instagram, Facebook, and her website.

Kristen is happily married with a 9-year-old stepdaughter, living on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas! She has overcome insecurities as her husband's second wife, learned a million lessons the hard way as a stepparent, and been on a roller coaster ride with shared parenting.
Kristen grew up as a stepchild with a strict and very involved stepdad and one long-distance dad and a few different stepmoms over the years. Couple that with the fact she was business partners and lived with her stepdaughter's mom for a season, and it's safe to say, she offers a unique perspective!
Kristen runs, an online platform dedicated to providing comfort and guidance to overwhelmed stepmoms by giving them the tools and inspiration they need to overcome insecurities and discontentment.

Kristen works to show stepmoms around the world that stepmomming is what they do and not who they are, encouraging them to embrace their unique roles and truly love their lives.
You can find her at or on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest

My Stepfamily Stressors used to consume me so much that my hands would literally shake

I'd spend my days consumed by the latest issue, and my "to do" lists would go untouched.

I'd have a pit in my stomach and couldn't think about anything else. I felt like I had no control over my life...

I was giving outside factors too much control over my happiness...

After a lot of work on myself, and a lot of work on my family, even though many of our stressors are still the same, everything has changed!

I want to help you get to this place too!

First, if you feel like your current Facebook group is meeting your needs then that is AMAZING! Stay where you are... But this is not just about the forum Here's how this community is different.

  • Have you ever worried about engaging or commenting on Facebook because you don't want people in your personal life to see what you've said? In this community, the only people who can see your posts are people in the community!

  • Have you ever had anxiety about someone seeing that you're a member of a Facebook Group for stepmoms?  Again, no one knows you're part of the community because it's entirely off Social Media.

  • Have you ever worried that your husband's ex is ALSO in the group?  Don't worry, as part of your membership Team Upon request, Team Jamie will scan members. We want you to feel SAFE in this community!

When we say this is exclusive we mean it is EXCLUSIVE!!! You can even change you name.

  • Do you ever feel like your Facebook Newsfeed is bogged down by stepmom drama from your Facebook Groups? I personally think, when things are good, you don't need to be reminded of the challenges. Your social media should be a POSITIVE space! With this forum, you can access it when YOU need support. When things are good, stepmom drama is out of sight out of mind!

[It] felt like I was getting advice from a good friend….You made me feel totally normal in this crazy new chapter I’m taking on... It’s empowering and refreshing to find someone who you can look up to, who’s been in your shoes, and can help you along the way. Thank you so much Jamie!!
